    Partner with Paul

    THIS IS A PAID POST!

So I have stumbled upon this site and obviously the site looks crap upon looking in it. I thought it was again another long page quick rich program from these gurus who almost always promise us to make money. Sure I know many of you are now avoiding these types of long sales pages. And neither do I want it.

So I read the content and was shocked that the site, though may look like a quick rich site, is actually a site that would probably help you make money step by step. So basically it's not a "get rich quick site". So upon seeing the site I have realized that many people fail (miserably on making money) because they know very little about making money. Obviously, you can't just dve in and expect to get the ball rolling in as easy as some days. In my experience I made some money from aff.marketing about 3-4 months and know they are doing great things to me.

So basically I give this program an A- for their services... Partner with Paul being offered for free is a great thing, because their is zero-risk in it. And I just thought some of the informations there are nice so its really great to take a look at the site

    John Chow’s hair is ludicrous

I don’t know if it’s just me or many feel like I. John Chow obviously one of the guys out there who’s having a lofty stature has an ugly hair. Yeah ugly! I don’t know, but for me his hair somehow looks like a badly-crafted art (not to say mine was great). Nowadays its better, the older days it was really bad at least for me. Why just try to sport a bald look ala Darren Rowse? Anyway I don’t really have the authority to dictate his hairdo.

So beyond his ridiculous hair, Chow has made $29,000 last month in his blog and it’s his lowest in this year. As usual there are tons of useless comments there that say stuffs like “wow I wish I’m like that” and “you’re really great”. Anyway Chow, I’m on the bandwagon that you are gonna make lesser this month. Why? I just feel it. Maybe people are already pissed with 10 paid post per month and slow loading pages of yours. In any other way or what just wishing you good luck and really hope you to recover your pr. ;-)

    Shit! Pagerank got dropped

Well, Google has made an update to its pagerank and my basketball blog was dropped. It was a pr2 site but now it dropped to pr1. And I suspect Google penalizes me for selling links, wtf! Anyway, any other projects of mine hasn't been affected... It's a topic right now in dp as many people were surprised by the pr update... Some dropped 4 levels and some increased by levels... Again many believe that Google is still updating and they hope that they have just made some mistakes and hopefully by the time everything is clear the pr also would...

Right now I will have to leave this blog for sometime because I'm doing some projects and I have to give priorities to them...

Digital Products are becoming more diluted nowadays

I just came from the Digital Point forum after reviewing a certain product there that a marketer is selling. He’s selling it for $11 and he’s got three review copies and I took one. You know what; to be honest I just gave some consideration to the product’s review. After I have read it, I like to think it is a junk PLR that he’s selling for a high price.

Nowadays, I think products are becoming more and more less of quality. Gone are the days wherein an ebook really makes impact. Today there are only few who work. Since everyone is up into the whole internet marketing thing and making money they just tend to be lazy to create a product and they just kinda toss it into the marketplace and people bite their bait…

One of the best forums is probably the Warriors Forum. Unlike dp, in order to post your product there you have to pay and your product has to be approved. I am a member of it for quite some time now and sometimes we also encounter bogus products there who deceits people. Going to the internet business is getting riskier now. And its gonna get tougher years from now

    It’s the birthday of Problogger!

Question, Darren Rowse the proud owner of Problogger is turning?

    1. 46 36
    2. 43
    3. 46

If you answer 36, then you got it right. Today Darren is celebrating his 36th birthday today and I’m sure many would sneak a message onto his twitter. So happy birthday Darren!

Ok, I’m gonna share an experience to you about finding out who’s the oldest. I first got into the Problogger’s website last year and I really love the content of it and how it is very beneficial to those who are newbies. At that time, I already knew Chow’s site as well as Jeremy and obviously hearing that this triumvirate makes a lot money w/each different styles I research more about them. At that time I thought Jeremy is just in his late 20’s (and thought he was a perv) and of course Chow looks truly old and I thought Darren was at his mid-40. Why? Because he’s bald, so yes but Shoemoney is also bald? But then Shoemoney looks younger than Darren. Here in Philippines not so many people want to sport a bald look. Unless you’re an athlete or a prisoner, the clean bald would only make you old here. So the mistake about Darren’s age was committed and I only happened to know his real age upon asking him in his twitter.

Forget all of those stuffs, whether Darren is 26, 36, or 46 he certainly is the one and only Problogger and the guy who many people admire. (I also have heard he’s a religious person). So Darren, how are you gonna celebrate your birthday? Are we invited?

    So I have tried ShoppingAds

So the monetization begins. After the confession I have made a couple of days ago I have now decided to make serious about monetizing this blogger blog.

I admit its really hard to monetize a blog that is a pr0 and having an alexa of 1,000,000+. So I have to drive traffic first and hope that the Google gods would reward me somehow. I have stumbled upon Internet Babel and have read his ways on how to make money. For sure its easier said than done but I believe that making money is synonymous with being creative and patient.

So know I have tried Shoemoney's auction Shopping ads. The ShoppingAds is a CPC AND CPA program. When a user from the US clicks the ad, then I would get compensated and when someone outside the US makes an action then I would also get payed. I don't really expect much from this program as it's very unlikely that I am going to make a lot from it. My goal is just to try to get some residual income in this blog.

I forgot who said this line, but I think it sums it all up in terms of monetizing blogs...
Making money from blog is harder than picking a stripper on the club

Just jumped into the twitter bandwagon

So, I have gone mainstream by joining people who are using twitter. Twitter is a device that is used for tracking updates from a certain person. But according to many bloggers, it’s a great way of maximizing your traffic. So if you’re out to drive some traffic to your site then you may want to take a look at it.

Also today I have customized the look of it. You may visit my twitter at twitter.com/melvinblog. One great thing about twitter at least for me is that you get to ask big people about something and they are really going to respond unlike sending them a mail or so. Its really up to you if you are gonna use a twitter or not. So if you are interested to follow me on twitter, here’s again my account twitter.com/melvinblog

$130, how do you reinvest it?

Just last Monday I got my $130 from Moreniche affiliate. That amount was from 15 days of hard work. Actually it was sent March 27 but because I am in the archipelago of the Philippines I have received it 3 weeks after it was sent. So today I am thinking of how I can reinvest the money online. I have planned that I will yes reinvest the entire amount and hope to get some returns.

So how do I reinvest it? What type of online investments can I try? Come on $130 is not $1,000,000 so the investment is pretty low. As of now, I am thinking of the following stuffs.

§ The Million Dollar Wiki --> Jeremy Shoemoney had a post saying that it’s a great investment, but still I doubt it is. Million Dollar Wiki hosting costs $100 for the entire life and as they said, the pages are ranked high on search engines.

§ Reinvest in affiliate marketing --> Yeah, maybe know I can try PPC Campaigns and some blog advertising. Its risky but it may as well worth much.

§ Purchase stuffs at DP à I have already did that but then its just also risky because everyone there wants to make money and they need to.

§ Become a premium of SEOMOZ à WTF! Maybe still worths a look, isn’t it?

§ Donate à is the last thing I would want to do!

How about you? Where will you reinvest your money?
